FUN FACTS

Favorite thing about living on the Emerald Coast?

 "I have fallen in love with the way of life here. Being so close to the beach makes it hard to take things in life for granted. When it's sunny and I'm on the beach, there's just not much else I need in this world to make me happy."

Favorite Fall trend?

"I'm a huge sucker for maxi dresses. My favorite way to wear them in the fall is belted with an awesome sweater or jacket. I love to layer necklaces and throw on some booties to accessorize. If I'm feeling spunky I'll add a hat or a sock bun too!"

Biggest things you've learned at SFH:

"I never realized how much each person's job overlaps one another in the fashion industry. The movement from design, to production, to sales happens so quickly, each person is an integral part in making this whole operation run smoothly. I'm just so happy to be able to contribute in any way possible and can't wait to see what I learn today!"

Favorite Bands?

"My favorite bands I've started listening to within the last year are Imagine Dragons and Of Monsters and Men. The staple bands that I'm always playing are Pink Floyd, Widespread Panic, and Kings of Leon. I really have such a variety of taste when it comes to music so who knows what I'll be listening to today; probably the latest Daft Punk album."

Favorite TV show

"I love all shows on HBO. Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, and Girls are just a few examples. Of course I can't forget about True Blood...I mean who can deny Eric Northman?"

Favorite Fashion Publication

"Vogue is always going to be my favorite but I also enjoy flipping through Nylon Magazine to see the Verily. They are a Photoshop-free magazine when it comes to photographing their models in order to promote women showcasing their natural beauty. I hope you like them and subscribe!"

Where did you hear about Judith March?

"Judith March is a name I first heard on Auburn's campus. When I started looking further into the company I realized it would be the perfect fit for me. Now that I'm hear I know I definitely made the right choice. The people, the location, and the clothes are all amazing." 

How would you describe your personal style

"My style varies day-to-day because I love trying out the new trends. Normally, I would describe my style as bohemian chic with an eclectic edge and southern flare."

What has been your favorite part of interning with SFH?

"I have really found a comfort zone in the design side of this company. My favorite things I've done so far have dealt with planning out textiles and embroideries for a new collection that will be released this Spring. I also love how much we get to craft while we are at work, it's so much fun!"
